“If you can’t explain it simply, you don’t understand it well enough” – Some guy called Einstein

There was a time when I had a very big ego.

Well, to be clear, it’s not so small now. But I no longer have aspirations of being one of the strongest men alive. I’m not even sure why I ever established that as a serious goal, especially considering I was a drug free, genetically generic athlete. The odds were always very bad.

I also had aspirations of mastering the science of training. I wanted to know every approach and theoretical model. I wanted to absorb and assimilate the knowledge of every leading guru. I got much closer to achieving this goal. In fact, my home office still has a corner packed high with my research from this little venture.

I need to remember to throw that shit out soon.

Some twenty years into this journey, I’ve learned a thing or two. My only real goal now is to help others avoid all of the common mistakes so that they have a better shot of achieving their goals. That’s all.

I find this to be a noble pursuit.

Recently, I published a lecture entitled Simple Strength: Easy Ideas for Extraordinary Results. This talk captures just about everything from my experience – every mistake, lesson, and insight – and presents it in an easy to consume package. I really think this could form the foundation for your own journey. Click HERE for a review from Paleo Now.

I hope you’ll consider checking it out.
