Happy Barbell Shrugged Wednesday to you all!
This week we chat with our friend Robert Daniel. Now, Rob is pretty interesting in that he’s a former Collegiate Cheerleader and Bodybuilder, but also a current national level Sumo Wrestler! That’s a pretty novel resume. What’s more, big Rob also has competed a bit in Powerlifting and Weightlifting, and is also thinking about trying his hand at Crossfit.
…And you thought your domains were wide?

We talk about his experience, lessons learned, and why it’s OK to try a bunch of different experiences, folding the best of each into something new. That and more on this weeks episode. Enjoy!

Happy Barbell Shrugged day!
This week we talk about some practical training and nutrition tips for the undersized athlete or fitness buff. I think you’ll dig it.
If you love training and enjoy a great comeback story, then this week’s episode of Barbell Shrugged is for you. This week are joined by Zach and Sarah Krych. Zack is a national level Weightlifter who’s overcome a serious injury to remain in the game at a high level. Sarah, his wife, is an Exercise Physiologist, highly capable Crossfit coach, and a great lifter herself. The two make a charming pair.
There’s plenty of tasty knowledge nuggets here that will help you get better. Tune in.

Every once in a while you have a truly surreal moment. Something that really surprises you, puts you on your heals and changes your perspective regarding what’s possible. I just had that moment. In a little over a year since we first plopped a cheap USB microphone down on a garage table, we’re sitting in the top 5 for iTunes fitness podcasts. That’s pretty damn cool. We do this because it’s ridiculously fun, and it gives us the opportunity to learn and share with a tremendous community of fans. And I might add, one that seems to be growing rapidly by the second. With my tiny voice, let me say thanks.
