A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. Loa-tzu Earlier this week I put up a post extoling the virtues of a simple walk. While it’s not the best form of exercise you can choose, I suggested that it works absolute wonders on the mind. If you’re troubled, stressed, confused, nervous, depressed, detached, you can start turning things around by just stepping away for a few minutes, putting one foot in front of the other. But I’ll be damned…I just read a news story that reminds me that the simple act of walking can indeed be a pretty great source of exercise for almost everyone (Thanks to Mark Morford for the link.
